Darren Martin: Liphook, Hampshire, United Kingdom; I'm an easy going, reliable person with a very relaxed attitude to life. I laugh a lot and enjoy being with my friends. I'm very self motivated and enjoy being creative. I work hard and earn my free time. When I was 16 I studied a National Diploma in Media Course at Guildford College for 2 years, achieving a Distinction overall. During my time on my ND, I gained a weeks work experience at Talkback Thames' 'The Bill' in the Art Department, giving me a real hands on look and feel to the Industry. At such an early stage in my Media Career, this really put everything in perspective, allowing me to prioritise my commitments and change my style of working. In 2008 I then progressed onto The Higher National Diploma Course in Media Production, also at Guildford College. In 2010 I made four individual films including a 30 minute drama and a documentary achieving Distinctions for both. I learnt a hell of a lot in terms of practical and theory in my four years at Guildford. I am now at Farnham University for the Creative Arts studying a BA in Film Production having started directly into the second year.
